Rising R&B/Jazz/Pop Artist Dandi Releases Self-Titled Debut Album

Adhyâropa Records is thrilled to announce DANDI, the stunning self-titled debut album by the rising pop/R&B star.

Singer and songwriter Dandi is releasing her debut album, DANDI — a collection of original songs written over the years. Blending the freedom of jazz, soulful R&B, and folk. The album captures a journey of self-discovery, transformation, and honest expression.

DANDI was recorded in a quiet, magical place in Switzerland over the course of four days with close friends. From long morning coffees to late hours in the studio, the process was as organic and sweet as a Swiss chocolate.

This album explores love, growth, and navigating life’s questions, complex emotions, and the balance between lightness and depth. It encourages listeners to embrace uncertainty, feel deeply, and find home within themselves.

A Personal Perspective:

This album reflects the life moments that shaped me. Listening back, I hear one story: how I have grown, what I have lost, and how I have found my way home to myself. It asks the questions we all face: Where am I going? Where have I been? The songs explore relationships, from almost-love to love that does not quite balance, and the moments when you have to demand honesty for yourself. Some tracks are playful and dancey; others are softer, giving space to breathe and simply be. It is an invitation to feel deeply, embrace uncertainty, and keep moving through the imperfect, beautiful journey of becoming.

A closer look at the album:

DANDI navigates life’s complexities, heartbreak, growth, and self-discovery. It opens with life questions, setting the stage for reflection and self-exploration. The following song, Again 'n' Again, dives into missed opportunities and obsessive thoughts, followed by Sentimental, which evokes longing for emotional depth, and ‘Dizzy,’ which confronts the frustration of unbalanced love. ‘Get Out’ offers a moment to reset and gain perspective. Songs such as ‘You Make Me Smile’ and ‘Autumn Winds’ celebrate presence, tenderness, and the simple beauty of connection, while the instrumental ‘Paris’ evokes calm and nostalgia.

Musically, the album was recorded largely live, capturing the energy and interplay of the musicians, and later layered with subtle electronic textures to add depth and color. This approach gives the album an intimate yet dynamic sound, balancing organic performance with modern sonic elements.

The album closes with the life question ‘Where Are You Going,’ bringing the journey full circle and reflecting on growth, vulnerability, and the path back to oneself.
